Playing
- Achievement
- A badge for a milestone, such as visiting your first town. It shows on your profile.
- Combat level
- Your Combat skill level. It sets your health and how often and how hard you hit.Read more about Combat level
- DiscoverAlso: discovery
- Walk into a town for the first time: you get Exploration XP and can fast travel there from then on.Read more about Discover
- Fast travel
- Free, instant travel from the world map to The Crossroads or any town you have visited on foot. Not during combat, and with a short cooldown.Read more about Fast travel
- Founder's HallAlso: registrar
- The hall in The Crossroads where the Registrar helps you found a town.Read more about Founder's Hall
- GatheringAlso: gather
- Working a tree, rock or fishing spot for resources. Click it or press E. You keep going until you move or your bags are full.Read more about Gathering
- Gold
- The game's currency, from fights, quests and raids. It is never a token, is not on chain and cannot be withdrawn. There is nothing to buy with it yet.Read more about Gold
- Grand Exchange
- The hall in The Crossroads where you can find and trade any town's coin.Read more about Grand Exchange
- Guest character
- A character made without signing up. It is tied to this browser. Link a wallet to get it back on another browser or device.Read more about Guest character
- InventoryAlso: bags
- Your bags: 24 slots. Open it with I. Items are game resources, never tokens.Read more about Inventory
- Notice board
- Every town's board of daily quests. The board in The Crossroads only has news.Read more about Notice board
- Party
- Up to 5 players who share a party chat and see each other's health. Parties do not share XP or loot.Read more about Party
- Quest
- Work from a town's notice board: deliver resources (Wanted) or defeat bandits (Bounty) for gold, XP and town points.Read more about Quest
- Resource node
- A tree, rock or fishing spot. It runs out for a short while, then grows back for everyone.Read more about Resource node
- Skill
- One of ten abilities you level from 1 to 99 by doing it: Combat, Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Smithing, Cooking, Crafting, Archaeology, Trading, Exploration.Read more about Skill
- Storehouse
- Where you deliver resources to a town's current project. A camp uses its supply wagon.Read more about Storehouse
- The CrossroadsAlso: crossroads, capital
- The walled capital in the middle of the world, with the Grand Exchange, the Founder's Hall, a bank and an inn. It is not a coin.Read more about The Crossroads
- Town pointsAlso: contribution points
- Points a town earns from deliveries, finished quests and won raids. They count toward its Town Score.Read more about Town points
- Town project
- A building goal a town collects resources for. Finishing it changes the town for everyone.Read more about Town project
- Wayfarer's HillAlso: spawn
- Where new characters start, south of The Crossroads.Read more about Wayfarer's Hill
- Waypoint
- A marker on your minimap and world map that leads you to a place.Read more about Waypoint
- World eventAlso: goblin raid, raid
- A goblin raid on a town, announced a few minutes ahead. If the raid is beaten, its defenders get gold, Combat XP and Goblin Totems.Read more about World event
- XPAlso: experience
- Experience points. Every action earns XP in its skill, and enough XP raises the skill's level.Read more about XP
Towns
- Active players (7d)
- Characters who spent at least 2 minutes inside the town in the last 7 days.Read more about Active players (7d)
- CitizenAlso: citizens, citizenship
- In town stats, every wallet holding the coin. In the game, a player whose linked wallet holds at least $1 of it can become a citizen for a title and the town chat anywhere. Cosmetic and social only.Read more about Citizen
- Condition
- How active a town has been lately: Thriving, Declining, Dormant, Abandoned or Rebuilding.Read more about Condition
- Founder
- The player whose wallet created the coin. They chose their share of the creator fee, 0% to 70%, at founding.Read more about Founder
- Free landAlso: plot, land for settlement
- A plot where a new town can be founded: a gold claim marker on maps and a Land for settlement sign in the world.Read more about Free land
- RuinsAlso: abandoned
- A town left quiet for 14 days. The coin still exists, and the town can be rebuilt if activity returns.Read more about Ruins
- The FrontierAlso: frontier
- The north-east region, where most free land is and new towns cluster.Read more about The Frontier
- TownAlso: settlement
- A place in the world that belongs to one coin. It grows, or falls into ruin, with real activity.Read more about Town
- Town level
- Camp, Hamlet, Village, Town, City or Kingdom (0 to V), set by the Town Score.Read more about Town level
- Town rankAlso: rank
- The town's place by Town Score across the world. A new town shows New until it is first counted.Read more about Town rank
- Town Score
- A public 0 to 100 score from nine real inputs: holders, liquidity, traders, volume, active players, quests, deliveries, town economy and age. Market cap is not one of them.Read more about Town Score

- The value of all trades of the coin in the last 24 hours.Read more about 24h volume
- Bonding curve
- pump.fun's automatic market for a new coin: the price rises as people buy and falls as they sell, by a fixed formula.Read more about Bonding curve

- How much of the curve's tradable supply has been bought. At 100% the coin graduates.Read more about Bonding curve progress
- CoinAlso: token
- A real cryptocurrency token on Solana. Every town is one coin, created on pump.fun when the town was founded.Read more about Coin
- Creator feeAlso: creator fees
- A fee on every trade that goes to the coin's creator-fee split, shown in SOL on each quote.Read more about Creator fee
- Creator-fee splitAlso: fee split
- How the creator fee is shared: founder 0% to 70%, town treasury at least 20%, Mintlands world treasury 10%. Locked on chain at founding.Read more about Creator-fee split
- Explorer
- A public website showing any Solana transaction or wallet. Mintlands links every trade, founding and treasury to one.Read more about Explorer
- First buy
- An optional buy of your new coin at its opening price, in the same transaction that creates it.Read more about First buy
- FoundingAlso: found a town, launch
- Launching a coin on pump.fun through Mintlands and placing its town on free land. Costs about 0.021 SOL in network fees and rent, plus any first buy.Read more about Founding
- GraduationAlso: graduated
- When a coin's bonding curve sells out, trading moves to a PumpSwap pool.Read more about Graduation
- HolderAlso: holders
- A wallet holding any amount of the coin. The bonding curve and pool do not count.Read more about Holder
- Liquidity
- The SOL in the coin's bonding curve or pool, shown in US dollars. With less liquidity, each trade moves the price more.Read more about Liquidity
- Market capAlso: market capitalisation, market capitalization
- The price of one token times the total supply. It is not money held by the town and is not part of the Town Score.Read more about Market cap
- Max slippageAlso: slippage
- How far the price may move before your trade lands. If it moves further, the trade is cancelled and no funds move.Read more about Max slippage
- Minimum received
- The least you will get after max slippage. The trade fails rather than give you less.Read more about Minimum received
- Mint addressAlso: contract address, mint
- The coin's unique address on Solana. Check it before you trade, because different coins can share a name.Read more about Mint address
- Network fees and rentAlso: network fee, rent
- Small SOL amounts Solana charges to process a transaction and to store new accounts.Read more about Network fees and rent
- Not financial advice
- Nothing in Mintlands is advice to buy or sell. Tokens are risky and can lose all their value. A town's size reflects activity, not value or future returns.Read more about Not financial advice
- Price impact
- How much your own trade moves the price. Bigger trades in smaller markets move it more.Read more about Price impact
- Protocol fee

- Seed phraseAlso: private key, recovery phrase
- The secret words that control a wallet. Never share them. Mintlands never asks for them, and nobody honest ever will.Read more about Seed phrase
- Sign-in message
- A free signature that proves you own a wallet. It sends no transaction and costs nothing.Read more about Sign-in message
- SOLAlso: solana
- Solana's own currency. Trades, fees and founding are paid in SOL.Read more about SOL
- $TICKERAlso: ticker, symbol
- A coin's short symbol, 2 to 10 letters or digits, written with a dollar sign. It is also the town page address: /town/TICKER.Read more about $TICKER
- Town treasuryAlso: treasury
- A public wallet that receives the town's share of creator fees. Anyone can audit it. Mintlands holds its key and spends it only on a fixed list of town actions, each recorded publicly.Read more about Town treasury
- Traders (24h)Also: traders
- Different wallets that traded the coin in the last 24 hours.Read more about Traders (24h)
- Transaction
- An action recorded on Solana, such as a buy, a sell or a coin launch. Your wallet shows it and asks you to approve it.Read more about Transaction
- WalletAlso: phantom, solflare, backpack
- An app such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack that holds your SOL and coins and asks you to approve every transaction. Only needed to trade or found a town.Read more about Wallet
